From 2005-2010 I worked as Community Arts Chair on the Global Village Festival which is a multi-cultural event that celebrates diversity. As a newly recent Commissioner of the Human Relations, Culture and Arts Promotion Board for the Town of Gilbert, I am actively involved with working toward a richer cultural framework for our community. I also serve on the board of the local non-profit arts organization, Gilbert Visual Arts League (GVAL) which supports artists with meetings that showcase speakers and searches out locations to hang work in the area.
